I hate hearing people say "voting for so-and-so is just throwing your vote away," or "I would vote for so-and-so if he had any chance of winning."
Imagine if everyone voted for the person they thought was right? Then truly ANYone could have a real shot at the White House. If everyone voted for the person they really wanted, we would probably stand a better chance of getting someone in the Oval Office who:
a) deserves to be there based on merit
b) might actually make a change
What has this freedom to vote come to when voters live on the premise that they must vote for someone they perceive to stand a higher chance than someone who would actually be a good president...
Ugh.
