Specifically the subtitle of the article. Who the hell think the writer's guild strike needs more "attention" drawn to it? Everyone who has watched TV for 30 minutes in the past 7 weeks knows about it and anyone who is a fan of any show is keenly aware of its annoyance.
What is the strike even about? Is it just about wages/salaries or something else?
Okay..... So they want to get paid twice for a single work like the government with taxes or they are wanting to get paid for each viewing?
Somehow I fail to see the difference online works have on their jobs. They still get paid for it regardless of where it is published or if it is even used at all. So if that is the heart of the issue, then that is retarded.
I would be a little more supportive if it was for something like being locked in the writing room for several days by force....

Oh, and I think it is about not getting paid or recognized for works that are published online.

I don't know how many are being paid twice. I think just everyone is protesting it at this point whether or not they ever are published online.
