Hottest Thing Since....Ever

Ta Da!!!!!

I am in love with this car, even to the point where I tried to rationalize with my dad that he owes me the gift of this car to make up for my "tormented" childhood.

What we are looking at is the Dodge Challenger 2008 concept car. It is a positively beautiful specimen of all the things I like about cars. (If anyone could ever consider me to be some kind of tomboy it would be because I like cars and I go to car shows---is that bad? *shrug* I don't care.) The other rational thing about it is that it really isn't that expensive. I think I read somewhere that it will be in the $30,000 range. Of course for a descendant of a 1970 muscle car that can cost as much as $90,000, I wouldn't consider that a bad price at all.

I will continue to drool the same way I do over Manolo's or those delicious Louboutin's I showed a while back. (!Thought! Wearing the Louboutin's WHILE driving the car!)

Call me crazy or a pooner, but I honestly prefer import tuners to domestic muscle. I do like the old classic muscle cars, but not the new ones. Although the new Charger SRT8 is pretty badass.

My dream car is a 60s Aston Martin...

Well, my first actual dream car is 1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda. Though I'd settle for any 70 to 73 Cuda. Second is the Dodge Viper. I'll take pretty much any year. The 2008 looks good.

Mmm. If only import manufacturers would design a V8 with the same compression ratios as their L4s that can get 100 hp out of each liter stock on dual overhead cam models...

Of course those compression ratios would literally sheer a V8 into pieces, but a man can dream... A man can dream...

I wish I could afford a turbo, cold air intake, larger diameter exhaust, low profile tires, and a performance clutch for my car... I really need new tires and a new clutch pretty bad so those will be the first things to get replaced...

Well...I've certainly got deja vous now. I could swear you've said that before.

Hahaha, I did say that last night, but then my thoughts wouldn't have been shared with everyone else who reads your blog.
