Unfortunate Combination

If you get queasy at the slightest gore, do not click on this.

What I can say is that iPods, people, and trains do not mix. If your mp3 player is on so loud you can't hear a train coming, well then you will end up with bigger problems than trying to find time to go jogging.

Jesus. Who listens to an mp3 player that loud? That's ridiculous.

I listen to music exceptionally loudly in my car, but it's never loud enough to drown out the noise of a train. The occasional distant siren, perhaps, but not a train even a mile away.

It is only my guess that it was loud. Also, if the train hit her while she "jogged" across the track...dare I ask how she didn't SEE it???

Well, perhaps she wasn't necessarily jogging across it, but between the rails in the same direction of travel as the train. Still I ask how it wasn't heard, but that would explain how it wasn't seen.

In any case, walking across, on, or between rails is legally considered trespassing and railroads have their own certified police force (not rent-a-cops) that don't take anything lightly. It's a good reason not to trespass on railroad property.

I thought the article said she was running across the tracks...

Oh yes, it did say that. Haha. Maybe this woman was a relative of Helen Keller?

Haha.
